Welcome To Our Website!
The Roaring Creek and Catawissa Valley Historical Study Group is centered in Numidia, Pennsylvania. Our historical research covers nine townships which include: Beaver, Catawissa, Cleveland, Conyngham, Franklin, Locust, Main, Mifflin, and Roaring Creek Townships. We hold our meetings on the first Wednesday of every month, at the Locust Township Municipal Building, at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to come. |

What Does The Group Do?
Our history group researches the history of the area. We also present some of the history of the area to the public through exciting events. In the past years, we have organized events such as: George Washington Crossing the Susquehanna River at Catawissa, Circut Riders at the McIntyre Church, and A Barn Dance. |
