A FIELD OF OUR OWN 2007 !!!
An Old Fashioned Baseball Game.
We will be holding the A Field of Our Own event again this summer. The old fashioned baseball game will be held on Saturday, August 11th, 2007 at the Jerome Petro Farm in Millgrove, PA. The gates will open at 10:00 am. At 11:00 am the tent museum will open and remain open throughout the day. At 2:15 pm, the players will begin to emerge from the corn field. The opening ceremony and game will begin at 3:25 pm. Admission is as follows: Adults 16 and older are $5.00 per person. Children under the age of 15 are free. There will be memorabilia, vendors, and food at the event. The rain date for the game is set for Sunday, August 12th, 2007.
Players from the North Penn League will be dressed in old fashioned uniforms and will emerge from the corn field like ghosts from the past to play ball.
There will also be Special Guests at the game. Local former professional players from both the men's and women's leagues will be attending the event as VIPs.
Don't forget to bring your lawn chairs and blankets. Hope to see you there!

From Interstate 80
From I-80, Buckhorn exit, take Rt. 42 South through Catawissa and to Numidia. In Numidia turn left at the yellow blinking light and follow the signs/arrows to Petro's Farm.
From Interstate 81
From I-81, get off at the Frackville exit, take PA-61 North to Ashland, Pick up PA-42 North to Numidia, and turn right at the yellow blinking light. Follow the signs and arrows to Petro's Farm.
